Many students working toward a degree in engineering could use a bit of financial assistance due to the time and energy it takes to complete the degree. Many engineering students also complete internships and help with volunteer projects to better set them up with a job once they graduate.
If you’re currently an engineering student looking for financial assistance, don’t hesitate to apply for these scholarships.
1. John and Marcia Price College of Engineering Scholarships
If you’re currently an engineering student at the University of Utah, you may be eligible to apply for the John and Marcia Price College of Engineering Scholarships.
There are two types of scholarships in this college including auto-match scholarships and apply-to scholarships. To receive an auto-match scholarship, you must complete the general and college of engineering applications. The system will automatically match you to the scholarships you qualify for. Apply-to scholarships require additional information like essays and prompt assignments but significantly increase your chance of receiving a scholarship.
2. ACEC Utah UVU Scholarship
We’re proud to give two $1,000 scholarships to engineering students at Utah Valley University every year. We believe in building up students in our local community and encouraging new Utah engineering projects.
To qualify for this scholarship, you must be a junior and enrolled in at least part-time classes. If selected for the scholarship, your award will be presented at an ACEC monthly luncheon.
3. ACEC Scholarships Program
The goal of ACEC is to provide educational scholarships to advance the engineering profession. In 2023, ACEC will award five general, two specialty and five diversity and inclusion scholarships. If you’d like to apply for a scholarship for the 2023-2024 year, applications are now open. Scholarships are only available to students entering their junior, senior or fifth year pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an approved program.
Hundreds of members have benefitted from ACEC Utah scholarships and gone on to be successful in their career field and applied for awards later.
Our team at ACEC Utah is committing to supporting all of our members throughout college and their careers in the construction and engineering field. If you’re currently an engineering student, we encourage you to consider becoming an ACEC Utah member because you gain access to networking opportunities, educational events and scholarships.
