You might see the name ACEC of Utah and think it’s just another association that does something, somewhere, for somebody. Well, that is true, but we’d love to take this opportunity to share more about the exciting and important work we do. Perhaps you might find that your skills fit perfectly with our mission, in which case, we’d love to meet you!
First things first. ACEC is an acronym which stands for American Council of Engineering Companies. Our specific chapter of the ACEC serves engineers in Utah. The organization is comprised of professional engineers who use their knowledge of the industry to consult on issues such as roadwork, buildings, and general infrastructure.
We have two main goals as an organization. Our first goal is to advocate for the engineering industry as a whole through thoughtful lobbying and staying abreast of the latest regulations, legislation, and news that’s relevant to engineering.
Our second aim is to provide further training for those in managerial roles. We want to build better business owners that are more in tune with the needs, demands, and changing climate of the engineering trade. Our consulting engineers share helpful tips on human resources, 401K changes, marketing strategies, and much more.
There’s so much more that the consultants of ACEC of Utah can provide, and do provide, on a regular basis. We’re proud to work alongside so many brilliant, talented individuals to accomplish our goals and make the industry stronger and more effective.
