We deliver bottom-line results by being “on point” and the trusted resource for different aspects of the engineering industry, including promoting infrastructure investment and eliminating liability and regulatory barriers in Congress, courts and agencies. Our Position

We are currently making an effort to urge Congress to support legislation that would promote the use of QBS and any grant programs or federal funding for projects involving QBS. For information about QBS and where we stand, please visit our website acecutah.org/advocacy.

Meet our Political Action Committee

Our Political Action Committee is the largest in the A/E industry and is also in the top 4% in the nation. One of our main goals is the help elect House and Senate members who support our agenda. We currently keep a Minuteman Fund to provide our committee members with the right tools for state legislative and legal battles that draw national attention. The following subjects are covered by our Minuteman Fund:

• Expanding Qualifications-Based Selection
• Promoting investments in infrastructure
• Nine percent A/E tax deduction
• Promote contracting out of A/E services
• Repeal of three percent withholding
• Uniform, FAR-based procurement rules for DOT projects
• Expansion of energy markets
• Expanded liability protection
• Landmark court decisions to protect the industry
