Great news — the ACEC Fall Conference is still happening! We’re still waiting to determine whether it will be online or in-person, but either way, we plan on connecting with our members from October 28-31.
Conference Details
The annual ACEC Fall conference will host more than 1,000 attendees. This year, there are sessions dedicated to education and networking, as well as forums, roundtables and fundraising events.
Each year, about 67% of attendees are CEOs, CFOs, presidents, principals, COOs and CIOs. The other 33% are senior engineering professionals, project managers and land development/surveying professionals.
Attendees will hear from keynote speakers Jessica Matthews, CEO of Uncharted Power, and Scott Harrison, CEO of charity:water. Both of these speakers bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our industry.
Benefits
Many of us have been working from home since mid-March while navigating the “new normal” of the pandemic. If you feel your motivation declining, connecting with other professionals in your industry is a great way to spark your passion again.
Additionally, although this event may be virtual, it’s still an irreplaceable networking opportunity. Since construction spending is down, according to ENR, and many projects are not deemed essential, this event creates the opportunity to brainstorm with others on how to create work in such a challenging time.
Lastly, if you’ve been dying to get out of your sweatpants, now is the time! Not only will you want to come with fresh ideas, but you’ll also want to look your best.
